On Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at mA in Amsterdam we organize the fourth edition of the VFX, Netherlands' largest trade fair in the field of postproductie, film, broadcast, games, 2D and VFX. This year's theme is 'Opportunities for creativity'. a theme reflected in all areas of content and creative quality level of the program, combined with opportunities for creatives to catch up with the market. We would like to invite your company business to contribute to the program.

For that we offer a number of presention packages: give your workshop in one of our workshop classrooms, bring your business to the attention in one of our presentation stands, take part in the VFX Network Drink and the VFX Career Fair. The possibilities:

ABOUT VFX

The VFX is the Netherlands' largest trade fair in the field of special effects and 3D. The visitors include professionals in the field of games, design, special effects, broadcast and film.

In 2008 a total of 1187 visitors attended the fair. Almost all visitors are active in the Dutch media industry or follow an education in it. Of the 1187 visitors 73% is a (software) user. Of these 24% described themselves as a designer and 19% as animator. 27% of the visitors described themselves as a decisionmaker (15% as a manager / producer).

OPPORTUNITIES FOR CREATIVITY

This year we aim to make VFX an even bigger success than the previous edition. The subtitle of VFX 2009 is 'Opportunities for creativity', a theme reflected in all areas of content and creative quality level of the program, combined with opportunities for creative catch up with the market.

Besides a large number of top professionals who give 'hands-on' workshops in software like  Autodesk, Avid, Adobe and other brands, the program will consist of:
